The process for a VM and remote hardware is exactly the same. However you will likely want to control an actual physical machine in a remote location, for example a remote Raspberry Pi. Remote Terminalįor this tutorial I shall be using a Linux Virtual Machine (called Debian 11 VM) as the remote host that I wish to control. These commands should be typed at the Home Assistant prompt.
